Photography
At Eye Magic, we have experience shooting digitally since 1995. Back then it was a Leaf DCB I - 3 captures with an RGB flywheel. Today we still shoot with Leaf but it’s the new Aptus 75 - single capture 33.3 Mega pixels for an un-interpolated 99.9MB RGB capture - that’s poster sized! Which means billboards and bus-wraps will also look great with resolution to spare.

Our studio has a full seamless photography cove and a half cove, perfect for large products such as cabinets or motorcycles as well as models. We also have room for 2 additional tabletop set-ups for smaller product shots. Complete studio lighting and equipment as well as mobile location capabilities.

Imaging
Color and Retouching is never just an after thought at Eye Magic. Since the late ’80’s, on Linotype-Hell Workstations, we’ve been pushing pixels and adding ‘warmth’ and ‘pop’! Now we do it all on screaming fast Mac’s, with Adobe Photoshop, that put their ‘High-End’ ancestors to shame. In reality it isn't the hardware that makes the biggest difference in the quality of your images. It's the skill and experience of the operators that create great looking images for all your media needs.

Our Mac artists are all well versed in RGB and CMYK workflows. Resolution, file formats, bit depth, megabytes and sharpness are practically a second language to our staff of caring professionals.

Prepress
Prepress and Post Production are the processes which bridge the gap of photographic and creative services to create a press ready file for a printing press. This is where experience tends to be the best teacher. After 20,000 impressions, you’d hate to find out that you didn’t have enough resolution for your images, the cross-over doesn’t line up, or someone forgot to build bleed...
